At Iris Bakker Studio a mural can take many forms. It can be the documentation of a creative proces, the illustration of the narrative that has formed your restaurant, a tribute to your employees or customers, or whatever you want to decorate your space with. No matter if it is drawing on a glass facade, decorating a toilet or a classic wall painting, the expression always takes its departure in your brand identity and finds inspiration in your values.
Read about some of the murals we have previously done below.
In the third floor of ARoS Art Museum there is a salon. This is a room the facilitates a number of different events. I was asked to decorate the windows by attending these events and draw what was going on. These photos are from Livemagasinet by Julie Vistisen. Other events were for example NorthLit LiteratureXchange and Atelier&vin.
In the new office space of Dentsu Aegis Network, we created a mural during their housewarming. Everyone from the office became a model for a day, getting blind drawn 1:1, becoming part of their own new workspace.
In the library of Loenen, Netherlands, there is a special part of the library for children and youth, where I drew on the windows, to improve the reading area with some inspirational drawings of kids reading.
